How long have you played football, and who or what got you started playing?
Ive been playing for 10 years, and the people that got me started were my parents and my grandpa.
With so many college coaches using Twitter and Hudl as tools to see or talk with players, how often do you update your pages?
Im always trying to reach new maxes in the weight room to find a way to update my pages because the recruitment process is moving quickly and if you dont move with it, youll get left behind, so I try to update them whenever I can.
What were the highs and lows of the 2023 season?
My high point was beating Sciotoville East in a close game all the way until the end. I would say our low point was losing to Berne Union right at the end of the game when we had them held till the end.
Many of the smaller schools are having a number issues. As a player at a smaller school, what do you do to try and get your classmates to come out for the team?
I like to tell kids that don't play that they should come out to be part of something special, something someone will sit around and talk about, or I tell them about the experience and how we were all family on that field.
What do you feel is the strongest part of your game?
In my opinion, I feel the strongest part of my game is my vision, my ability to find a gap that is opening or will be open.
Which part of your game are you hoping to improve to become a better player?
I'm hoping to get more involved in the pass game and work on my pass-catching ability and myself as a threat in open space.
What were you able to accomplish to help you become a better player?
I started to let things go through me instead of getting mad when I made a mistake. I opened my mind to my coaches because they only want to help. I used to get upset and ignore my coaches, but I know now they're only trying to help me become the best me I can be.
As a running back, what is the worst weather to play in?
The rain is the worst weather to play in because the ball gets slippery and is hard to hold on to and receive.
You guys have a very cool older-type stadium. As a player, what is the best part of playing there?
The best part of playing at our home field is that our fans are flat out. We are from a smaller set of towns, but fans will still fill the bleachers and leak out onto the track, and they make so much noise that sometimes it is hard to hear in the huddle.
What are your goals for the season?
My personal goals are to have 1500 rushing yards and 300 receiving yards to go for 1800 all-purpose yards and break my school's all-time tackle record.
Who is the one teammate who will do something funny to get a laugh when things are a little tense?
Nick Thompson is the most serious and unserious person I have ever met, and he will always be doing something that can make the team crack a smile in hard times.
Would you rather kick the season off with your rival or close out the season with them? Explain
I would definitely want a rival at the end of the season because I know the team that walks off the bus week one is not the team that walks off week ten.
What are your favorite and least favorite types of music?
My favorite type of music Is honestly county music? I'm not very picky when it comes to music because the guys will play rap and I'll sing to that, but when I need to lock in, I listen to county.
Who is your favorite athlete?
My favorite athlete is Marshawn Lynch. I love everything about him, from his game to his personality. If there was anyone I wanted to be, it would be Marshawn.
What was the last book that you read, along with the author?
The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald
