5’10”  150lbs

Let's kick this off by telling the readers a little about your school, Calumet Christian School. Where are you located, and what conference do you play in, along with any other tidbits you want to add?

Calumet Christian is a small private Christian school located in Griffith, Indiana. We play in the GLCAC (Great Lakes Christian Athletic Conference).

Calumet Christian School went 6-5 last season. I covered your game at Indiana Wesleyan last year against Landmark Christian. Would you share with everyone how you guys got to play at the college stadium?

Since our conference is a homeschooled conference full of Christian organizations throughout the northern states, our coaches from the teams connected with Indiana Wesleyan University and were able to let us use their awesome facilities.

What are your personal goals for the 2024 season?

My personal goal for the 2024 season is to be better than last season. 1000+ receiving yards, no more than 5 dropped passes, and I think everyone’s personal goal is winning state.

What goals will you set for your team?

Goals I have already set for my team are to build better relationships with each other, on and off the field. Not only that, but working together and communicating better on the field.

WR, CB, and kicker: which of the three positions do you feel you are best at?

Wide Receiver

What do you feel is the strongest part of your overall game?

I feel like the strongest part of my game is my quickness. This goes both offensively and defensively. On offense, I'm able to create separation in a quick amount of time when needed. On the defensive, when I'm getting beat, I'm able to react and get back to the correct area.

What part must you improve on the most to be better this season?

The main thing I have to improve on this season to be the best I can be is my release. I found recently that I have a slower release than most guys, and I feel like if I can fix that, I can be at the top of my game.

I know you have been attending some camps. Would you share with us some of the camps you have attended, as well as some of the biggest things you have learned at them?

I have attended Carroll University’s football camp, Taylor University, and I will be attending Valpo University’s football camp on July 17th. One of the biggest things I have learned from them is that my best is all that matters. When you’re in a game and you are tired and full of fatigue, are you willing to give that extra step and be 100% no matter the circumstance?

Who has been the best player that you have faced in a game, as well as the team he played on?

One of the best players that I have faced in games was Peter Kinney from the Osceola Grace Eagles.

What has been your biggest moment as an athlete, of any sort, at any age?

My biggest moment as an athlete was scoring my first touchdown as a freshman.

Would you rather play your rival on opening night or the last week of the season?

I would rather play my rival on opening night.

What is your favorite part of being a member of the football team?

My favorite part of being a member of the football team is the character that is created in me from being surrounded by my coaches and guys for so long.

The recruiting process is going well for you. Could you share with us some of the schools you are hearing from, along with any offers you have?

The schools that I am hearing from are Ashland University, Trine University, Ohio Northern University, Taylor University, Denison University, Carroll University, Carthage College, Bluffton University, and Hanover College, and I hold an offer from CCSJ.

What toppings go on your burger?

I like tomatoes, lettuce, ketchup, and bacon on my burger.

Which sport is your favorite to watch on TV?

I really like watching football.

Who is your favorite athlete?

Tim Te
