How long have you played football, along with the reason you continue to play?

I've been playing football since the 4th grade. I continue to play because I love the feel of Friday nights and competing!

What are you going to miss the most from the 2024 class?

Sharing the field with athletes that showed me the ropes my freshman year.

What was the high point of your 2023 season?

Starting at DE

What was the low point of the 2023 season?

Starting the season with a knee injury.

What is the toughest part of a Wellsville practice?

Our team is holding ourselves up to WHS football standards.

What is your favorite part of practice?

Thursday night walk through and lead up to Friday.

Which type of weather is the hardest to play in?

Snow

How long have you been a punter?

I just started kicking in the off-season.

What has been your longest punt in a game?

No game has kicked yet. Pre-season is 47 yards and 4.7 seconds of hang time.

TE/DE/OLB Which of those three positions that you play do you feel you are the best at?

My physical size and speed make me best suited for TE. I'm always in search of more passes.

TE/DE/OLB Which of those three positions do you feel is the hardest to prepare for?

Physically, DE is harder, I believe, because you're going against their best T in every play.

What are your goals for the 2024 season?

Work on our record, win our division, and get on some coach's radars.

What is your go-to snack?

Is chipotle a snack, lol?

What is the one sport you cannot watch on TV?

Baseball

Who is your favorite athlete?

Christian McCaffrey

  Braylon Sturgill Ironton High School LB/FB 2025 What were your goals entering the 2023 season, and were you able to achieve those goals? Our goal every year is simple: win a state championship. We fell short last season, but we are coming back stronger. My personal goals were to be a full-time starter and contribute to my team's success.
