How long have you played football, along with the reasons you continue to play?

I’ve played football for 9 years, and I continue to play because I love the game.

What was the high point of your 2023 season?

We see improvement in our whole team.

What was the low point of the 2023 season?

My low point of the 2023 season was not getting the results we wanted for the year.

Who has been the best player that you have ever faced in a game, along with the team he played for?

I think in my sophomore season, we played against Zane Trace, and I played against Daniel Barnhart, who was probably the best player I played against.

Offensive line or defensive line, which one is the toughest to prepare for? Explain

I think the defensive line is harder to prepare for because you have to make sure your moves are on point. It’s also a combination of technique, strength, and speed.

For a lineman, which is the toughest type of weather to play in?

I think it rains because, when you come off the ball, you have to worry about slipping and missing your block.

With this coming season being your senior season on the football field, do you think you will prepare any differently?

Yes, I will definitely train more on injury prevention and make sure my technique is down. I am also trying to be a better leader for my team, so I don’t have to just prepare myself; I have a whole team to prepare for this upcoming season.

After the season is 100% over, if you are invited to play in any of the season-ending all-star games, will you?

I will definitely participate in any opportunity I get to play more football, no matter what.

If you are hearing from any colleges about playing football, would you name one or two of the schools?

I haven’t heard anything for sure from any schools, but I have definitely been in conversations with some.

What has been your biggest moment on the football field?

Probably just being out there when we had 15 kids on our team my freshman year to now having 30+ coming out every day in the offseason.

As an athlete in any sport, at any age, what has been your most embarrassing moment?

My most embarrassing moment has to be when I forgot my basketball jersey in elementary school and had to wear a gray shirt with a number made from duck tape in a tournament.

What is the toughest part of practice?

The toughest part of practice is trying to get everyone focused through some of that long practice.

Who is your favorite athlete?

Jason Kelce

What is your go-to snack?

Blueberries

What scares you?

My last game of football.
