What were your personal goals heading into the 2023 season, and were you able to achieve those goals?
To be able to play the sports I love and get good grades. Yes, I was able to reach the goals, but there is always more work to be done to better myself for the future.
What will you miss the most from the 2024 class?
The Friday night games and being able to perform to the best of my abilities for the team
What was the high point of the 2023 season?
When we beat Piqua in a close game, which I and the team fought so hard to beat, it was a great night for all of us.
What was the low point of the 2023 season?
When we played our last game in the playoffs, which I couldn’t play because of transfer rules, I just wish I could’ve played that last game with my teammates.
Which game from the 2023 season had the most intensity? Explain
When we played Xenia because that was our rival, we came into that game with a lot of fire, and we wanted to win.
Who was the best player that you faced in a game during the 2023 season, along with the team he played for?
I would have to say Jahari Ward the running back from Troy. He was very explosive and good at running with the football.
Who was the best team that Stebbins faced during the 2023 season, and why did you think they were so good?
The best team we played for was Tippecanoe. They had a good offense and a good game plan against us.
What will you miss the most about playing high school football?
The atmosphere that the fans brought to our games and playing the sport I love with teammates I’ve played with before. just overall a great feeling.
What were your feelings as you walked off the field for the last time as a member of the Stebbins football team?
I was sad because I wouldn’t be able to put on a Stebbins jersey again, but I felt as if we did our best and gave our all.
What mark do you believe your class left the Stebbins football program?
We left that we were a hard-working class, and we were the first class to beat Piqua last season.
Would you let the readers know some of the schools that recruited you?
Otterbein and Muskingum.
What made you choose Otterbein?
It just felt like home when I first went there for a visit. Great coaches and great teammates. It was a good program that I really wanted to be a part of.
Have you ever been to a University of Dayton football game?
No, I’ve never been to a UD game.
What are your hobbies outside of sports?
I like to read and listen to music in my free time.
Who is your role model?
My mom and my dad are my role models. They taught me everything I know today, and they are still teaching me about life in general. I don’t know where I would be without them, and I am forever grateful for them.
