Awards: Athlete of the week from our school after our 2nd round playoff win.

Please post a small recap of last season with something like a big game you had, something about a certain game, something from a bus ride to or from the game, or something that sticks out from a practice.

Last season recap: coming off a state championship and losing over 30 seniors provided an early season struggle, but we really gelled after our first win in week 4. We won 6 games in a row, made it to sweet 16 and lost to the eventual state champs by 4 points. As a first year full starter it was awesome how we came together and played the Liberty way.

Football or Lacrosse: which one do you feel you are better at?

I feel like football is my first choice, but probably have more room to improve at lacrosse. Since football is demanding year round I don’t get that many opportunities in lacrosse other than the school season.

Football or Lacrosse: which on are you hoping to play in college?

I would love to play both, but since that probably won’t happen I’m just looking forward to my college experience, and maybe I can play one of the sports I love as well.

What are your personal goals for the 2026 football season?

Have fun and be the best senior leader I can be.

What team goals are you setting?

We have a good group of seniors and I want us to provide leadership and inspiration through our play on the field, hopefully win a bunch of games and a lot of fun doing it!

What have you done during the off-season to help you become a better player?

I am constantly training and using what I’ve learned throughout my time in our program to get better every day.

What has been your biggest moment on the football field?

I would probably say our second round playoff game against Olentangy. I had 11 tackles, 4 sacks and 1 FF. Our defense really played as a unit that game, and it felt good to get them after they beat us in our home opener earlier in the season.

Who has been the best player that you have faced in a game, along with the team he was on?

it’s hard to single out one player as the best, as we play a really competitive schedule in Division 1 filled with a lot of top athletes. A lot of really good players!

Which road stadium is the toughest to play in, along with the thing that makes it so tough?

All stadiums in our division are tough to play in, but I would probably say Upper Arlington is a nice challenge. It feels really good if you can get a win there

What makes you a good teammate?

I try to be the best teammate I can be everyday on field and off, but I really hope my effort in practice and on field play makes me someone people like to play with.

Can you explain to the readers your main function as linebacker?

To be a defensive leader, making sure players are in the right spot and most importantly making plays!

How important is it to you that the team not only gets along on the field but off of it as well?

It’s not something that I really think about. We have been together in the same program for years so it comes easy for all of us on and off the field. But having good team chemistry is always good!

If you are invited to play in any of the all-star games after the season, will you play?

If I am fortunate enough to be invited to any post season all star game, I’m sure I would find a way to make it work!

Where is the best local spot to grab a good meal?

Canes! Probably not original but Canes is awesome!

What is your favorite animal?

Dogs. Love my dog Betty.

What is the one sport you cannot watch on TV?

Not much of a TV watching person, but I can occasionally watch some golf with my dad. So I guess I can probably watch any sport without a problem! 😁
