Please post something from last season that sticks out to you. It can be from a game, practice, or something funny on the bus ride to or from the game—any moment that sticks out to you.

N/A

With this being your final high school football season have you changed anything about the way you are preparing for the season?

I mean working on change of direction, and just really focusing on my weaknesses more than my strengths.

In watching your Hudl package it appears you have enough power to run over bigger would be tacklers and enough speed to run away from there? How would you describe your style of play?

To me, I feel like I'm an all round running back, I can block, great at running the ball, may not have the best hands on the team, but I can catch the ball if you need me to.

What makes you a good teammate?

I'm a leader, I help the whole team get better, I'm accountable, hardworking, and a motivator.

Tatum High School went 3-7 last year, as you know. What has to happen this season to ensure a winning season and a playoff win or two?

Our team is together, I feel like last year our team chemistry was zero, but this year we are together, we hold each other accountable, work hard, and have great players.

What is the toughest part of being a running back?

The toll that it takes on your body. Us running backs are always getting hit, and after a while you feel the effects of it, so we still have to push through it.

Why should your number be called when the game is on the line?

Because I'm confident enough to do it. My teammates know they should depend on me when the game on the line, because of who I am.

What type of defense do you like going up against?

I like a 3-4 defense, I know if my linemen get the block, and I make a linebacker miss, I’m gone.

What has been your biggest moment as an athlete?

I could say right now, is being on varsity and getting recognition.

What has been the most disappointing moment as an athlete?

Me jumping before the play start, when we were just 20 yards from the touchdown.

What are your personal goals for the season?

Go over 2000 rushing yards, go to state or be close.

What team goals are you setting?

Every skill that's starting in offense should at least have five touchdowns. My linemen should have a lot of pancakes, but in reality, we shouldn’t lose any.

What has been the biggest lesson that you have learned from playing sports?

That the sport is just business.

Have you watched any of the UFL games?

Yes

Who are your role models?

Don't have one.

Outside of sports what are you doing for fun?

Riding my bike, playing my game, going out to eat, and watching TV.
