Please post something from a previous season that sticks out to you. It can be from a game, practice, or something funny on the bus ride to or from the game—any moment that sticks out to you.

A moment that sticks out to me was being on the sidelines as a freshman messing around with friends and watching the older guys play; it was a fun time. Not necessarily in the moment but looking back on it.

What are your goals for the 2026 season?

My goal for the 2026 season is to have team success, hopefully leading the team to a chip and building a new foundation within this program, but also setting a school standard.

What goals will you set for the team?

Team-wise, I would like our team to have unity and to be like a family. Winning games is important, but without an established squad, you won’t win anything.

What makes you a good teammate?

What makes me a good teammate is humility and the ability to battle through adversity with my teammates instead of by myself; their problems are my problems, and my problems are theirs, likewise goals as well.

What was the biggest change that the new coaching staff made?

The biggest change the new coaching staff has made is paying more attention to little mistakes, making them more visible; they capitalize on fixing those mistakes during our practices so they don’t turn into vulnerabilities during games.

How would you describe your style of play?

To describe my style of play, I would say at QB I'm a dual threat, crafty in the run and pass game, but I would personally say I'm a better passer and would probably compare myself to Bryce Young if anyone. At safety, I'm more of a run-dominant safety, and on the field in general, I would say I'm really an athlete who prioritizes playing every position on the field.

What is the strongest part of your game?

The strongest part of my game is certainly on defense, and I would say against the run game, I can easily identify a run from the running back’s stance to the guards' movements.

What are you doing during the off-season to make you a better player?

To make myself a better player during this off-season, I’ve been consistently working on mechanics and techniques, focusing on details that I made mistakes on last year, and making sure that I am prepared for this upcoming season.

Grass or turf?

Definitely Turf

For a QB, what is the worst weather to play in?

Rain

Which road stadium has the best overall atmosphere?

I would say Watkins or Massillon had the best overall atmosphere.

With this being your final high school football season, are you preparing any differently than you have in the past?

I’ve certainly been preparing differently this upcoming season because the last year of high school football is when memories happen but also to decide if you are going to play at the next level.

Would you rather beat your rivals and miss the playoffs or lose to them and make the playoffs?

I would rather lose to them and make the playoffs. Making the playoffs builds more momentum and confidence that you can use to beat our rivals for next year’s team, plus I care about the postseason more than the regular season because the regular doesn’t matter; the postseason does.

Outside of sports, what are you doing for fun?

Hanging out with friends or just chilling in all honesty

What is the one food you cannot eat?

Pickles

What is your favorite movie or show?

My favorite movie is Menace II Society, and my favorite show is Sponge Bob.
