(Softball/Game Report) North Adams 2 Williamsburg 1 (9 Innings)

 

North Adams now stands 21-4 after their nine inning one run win over Williamsburg (13-9) extending their winning streak to eight games. Williamsburg out hit the Green Devils 10-6. The Wildcats committed the only error of the game. The Green Devils had two extra base hits compared to three by the wildcats. The Wildcats had three doubles while the Green Devils had a double and a home run. 

Alyssa Vearil went all nine innings for the Wildcats. She gave up six hits and struck out nine. She gave up just one earned run. For the Green Devils Marnie Tolle went 5 innings giving up six while striking out six. Carlee Garrison went four innings giving up four hits walking two and striking out five.

Chloe Armstrong had a home run and one RBI. Paige Evans had a hit, and she drove in a run. Also for the Green Devils Carlee Garrison had a double, while Riley Woods and Melanie Wood had singles. For Williamsburg Rylinn Tyminski had a single and drove in the team's only run.  Lyla Hensley had two singles. Mackenzie Shoemake two hits including a double. Julia Johnson had a double. Kaylynn Anderkin had two hits including a double. Alyssa Vearil and Kaityln and Pollitt each had a single.
