What are your goals for the season?
My goals this season are to have a winning record, break a school record, and get offers.
As a younger player, which upperclassman will you go to if you need help with anything football-related?
I would go to Jayden Shackelford.
What are you doing during the off-season to help improve your game?
I’m going to 5:45 am lifts Monday through Thursday and training with a weightlifting coach after school Monday through Friday.
What are you looking forward to the most this season?
Getting offers and beating our rival for the first time in 4 years
What do you think is the strength of your game?
I think the strength of my game is being the youngest on the field doing what others can't.
How would you describe your style of play?
I would describe mine like Travis hunters.
Receiver or defensive back: which one do you feel you are better at?
I feel better at defensive back.
How important is it to you that the entire team gets along not only on the field but also off of it too?
I feel like that’s good because it builds chemistry on the field, and it will help us get along better.
What is your game day routine?
My game day routine after a day of school is eat, go get my ankles taped, stretch, rest for a bit, go to the field before everyone and jog around the stack 2 times, hydrate, and pray.
How do you get over a bad game?
I watch my film, see what I did wrong, and work on that exact thing.
What makes you a good teammate?
I help kids that don’t know what they're doing with stuff, and I tell them what they're doing wrong.
What has been the biggest lesson that you have learned from playing sports?
That it’s not an opportunity everyone gets, especially starting varsity both ways as a freshman.

Science

Spinach
