Playing against Grove City last year because I had a teammate that transferred to us from that school, and it felt like a secondary rivalry game, and it was the homecoming game.

With this being your season, have you prepared any differently than you have in the past:

Absolutely, I've never worked as hard as I have in the offseason.

What are you doing during the off-season to improve your game?

Eating good, training at minimum 4x a week, and keeping God in my everyday life

What makes you a good teammate?

I look out for my brothers on and off of the field.

As a defensive tackle, what is your primary assignment?

Control my gap and set the tone.

What is the best part of being a defensive tackle?

Being able to go up against people taller and bigger than me and proving to myself that size does not matter.

What is the toughest part of being a defensive tackle?

Triple teams.

Do you feel that the transfer portal has made it harder for high school players to get recruited?

In my personal opinion yes but do I think it’s smart for college coaches, absolutely.

What are the goals you will set for the team this season?

No matter the size, ranking, popularity complete your assignment

After the season is over, if you are invited to play in any of the all-star games, will you play?

Without a doubt!
