(Softball/Game Report) Northridge 9 Madison Christian 4

 


The Vikings improve to 3-5 while Madison Christian falls to 2-3 after the Vikings picked up the road win tonight. The Vikings pounded out 17 hits compared to 9 for the home team. There were 4 errors in the game with Madison Christian committing three of those. Freshman Ashlynn Mauger and Senior Cheyann Severance each had four hits to lead the Vikings. Elizabeth Behn and Mauger each had 3 RBI in the win. Senior Gracie Smith had 2 RBI. For the Eagles Bella Larocca had 2 RBI and 2 hits. Chloe Rice also had 2 hits and she scored a run. Peyton Dozer delivered 2 RBI, and she totaled a hit for the Eagles.

There were no pitching stats posted for the Vikings.  For the Eagles Lexi Groom gave up 10 hits and 7 earned runs in two innings of work. Rice threw 5 innings giving up 7 hits and 2 earned runs. 

 Kadance Adkins had 8 put outs for the Vikings and for the Eagles Sophia Moore and Larocca had 5 put outs each.
