(Softball/Game Report) Millersport 10 Liberty Christian Academy 0 5 innings


 

I made my way back to Millersport, Ohio, to watch the Lakers (8-5) battle Liberty Christian Academy (4-8). The first time these two hooked up, the Lakers posted the 10-0 win.

In the game today the Lakers would again win 10-0. Today, Laker pitcher Kendyl Bonkowski made history by achieving her 600th career strikeout.

Bonkowski gave up one hit, a hit that the home plate umpire and I both thought was an error. She had a total of eleven strikeouts on the day. She allowed zero walks.

Alissa Windle had the only hit for the Eagels. In the field the Eagles committed seven errors. The Lakers had two errors. Madison Looney had seven put outs for the Eagles, and for the Lakers, Khole Hardy had ten.

On the base path the Lakers had six stolen bases, with six different players swiping one.

The Lakers totaled nine hits in the game. Claire Haney and Hardy both had two hits apiece. Haney had 3 RBI, and Hardy had two. Bonkowski also checked in with two hits and two runs batted in. Eryn Raver had 1 RBI, and Macey Buckholz had 1 RBI to go with one hit.
