Please post something from last season that sticks out to you. It can be from a game, practice, or something funny on the bus ride to or from the game. Any moment that sticks out to you.
What sticks out most from last season is how we started off losing three games in a row, but then we completely turned it around and started winning. That shift showed what kind of team we really were and how quickly things can change in a season.
What did you learn about yourself and your team that you will be able to use to be a better player this year?
I learned that a season can turn around at any moment, and you have to be ready for challenging situations because that’s what football is. I also learned the importance of being a team, staying together, and trusting each other through adversity.
What was the toughest part of the 2025 season?
The toughest part of the 2025 season was dealing with nagging injuries throughout the year while still having to compete and fight alongside my guys every week.
What was the best part of the 2025 season?
The best part of the 2025 season was making a run in the playoffs and getting a big win over Olentangy, who had beaten us in our home opener. That game meant a lot for our team.
RB, WR, FS, or SS—of those positions that you play, which one do you feel you are best at?
Running Back. I feel like I’m best there because I’m tough, patient when waiting for gaps to open, and I love the grind of the position.
What are your team goals for the 2026 season?
Our goals for 2026 are to compete for a championship, play disciplined football, and continue building a strong team culture where we push each other every day.
What personal goals will you set for yourself?
My personal goals are to be an All-State player and break some school records while continuing to develop my game and leadership. I want to be an explosive player all over the field.
With the 2026 season being your final high school season, will you prepare differently than you have in the past?
No, I won’t prepare differently because I take every season seriously. I don’t wait until senior year to lock in—I love the game and the grind every year.
Would you rather lose to your rival and make the playoffs or defeat your rival and miss the playoffs?
I would rather lose to my rival and make the playoffs so we hopefully get another chance to see them again and beat them when it matters most.
What has been the best and worst part of the recruiting season?
The best part of recruiting has been visiting different schools and learning about different programs. The worst part has been the long car rides and travel.
I know the list is long, but could you let the readers know some of the teams that are recruiting you?
I’ve been recruited by Ivy League schools like Columbia, Yale, Dartmouth, and Cornell, as well as Bucknell, Colgate, Georgetown, and Fordham.
What has been your biggest moment as a baseball player?
My biggest moment as a baseball player was making a game-winning diving catch to help advance in the playoffs.
Who is the toughest pitcher that you have faced in a game?
The toughest pitcher I faced was when I played up in Florida against a Vanderbilt commit who was throwing 95 mph.
Kings Island or Cedar Point?
Kings Island. I’ve had a great time there, and I haven’t been to Cedar Point yet.
Have you watched or gone to any of the Columbus Clippers games?
No, I haven’t been yet, but I would like to go and check it out.
What type of music is your favorite?
I don’t have just one favorite genre—I listen to a lot of music. I usually listen to artists like Drake, and I enjoy music in general.
