(Game Report) Lakewood 5 Dublin Coffman 4

 

The Lancers (5-3) trailed at home 3-1 after to. Coffman (3-1) would find themselves down 4-3 after the Lancers scored three in the third. The game would stay that way until the seventh when Coffman plated a run to lock things up. The Lancers would get the winning run in their half of the seventh to post the big win.

 Using stats from Game Changer/Max Preps Coffman had three errors while the Lancers committed zero errors. The Lancers won the total hit battle 7-6. Myla Foust had two doubles and an RBI to lead the visitors offense. Kaley Dosch a hit and a RBI. Payton Winner also had a hit and a RBI. Freshman DeLaney Makuh went hitless, but she did have a RBI.

For the Lancers, Jaycie Montie drove in two, and she had a hit. Ashlyn Carder had two hits and 1 RBI. Both of Carder hits were doubles. Montie also had a double. Cora Redman also doubled for the Lancers.

In the field Kyla Ruiz Beech had two errors and Emma Nyikes and the other Coffman miscue. Madison O'Malley had six put outs. 

For the Lancers in the field Montie had 8 put outs. 

Allie Stimmel went four innings for the Lancers. She had 5 K's and gave up just 1 earned run.

For Coffman, Makuh went 3 1/3 innings in relief. She gave up 1 earned run.
