(Softball) Berne Union 21 Delaware Christian 5 5 Innings


 The Rockets trailed 2-0 after one inning of play after that they would outscore the Eagles 21-3 pulling away for the lopsided win. For the game the Rockets would pound out 12 hits including two doubles, a triple and a home run. The Eagles had seven hits with two of those going for doubles. 

The two teams struggled in the field committing a total 9 errors, with the Eagles having five of them. Ellia Edmonds have 5 put outs and 1 assist. Lauryn Kuhn had 11 put outs for the Rockets. 

Makenzie Fritz had two of the Rockets hits, including a home run and she had 4 RBI. Lauryn Kuhn had a hit and 4 RBI and she scored twice. Addy Kalisik, McKenna Conley, and  Reese Besco each had two hits. Kalisik had 2 RBI while Conley and Besco each had one. Brooke Hurst went 1-1 with 2 RBI. Sophia Williams, Ryle North, Bella Daniels and Cloe Hatzer all had a RBI. 

For the Eagles, Claire Costello had 3 hits and 2 RBI to lead the offense. Ellie Dhume, Achaia Marquis, and Ava Hovda each had a RBI.

Berne Union improves to 7-1 extending their win streak to seven. Up next for the Rockets is a road game at Millersport. Delaware Christian drops to 2-2 on the season. Up next for the Eagles is a road game at Northside Christian.
