The highlight of my 2024 season was definitely the 42-yard free kick Coach Daniel Barker had me working on all week before we played that Friday night. For those that don’t know, a free kick happens after receiving a fair catch. Your team can choose to kick a field goal off a kickoff tee from where the fair catch was received. It’s very rarely used in football now. But I did do it. I made a 42-yard free kick, and it made my season! What was the toughest part of the 2024 season?
