Please post something from last season that sticks out to you. It can be from a game, practice, or something funny on the bus ride to or from the game. Any moment that sticks out to you.

Last year losing to my district rivals really lit a fire inside of me.

Who or what got you started playing basketball?

My papaw got me into camps and little league when I was young, but I grew up in the footsteps of my uncle Christian.

What has been the best part of the season?

Getting my first D1 offer.

What has been the toughest part of the season?

Struggling with mental stuff and learning how to control my highs and lows.

What is the strength of your game?

Shooting is always there, but my passing is so underrated.

Overall, how would you describe your style of play?

My style of play is a bucket getter; I play smart and read the defense well.

In all of the games I have covered this season, I have only seen one player follow their shot. Can you explain why shooters do not follow their shot?

Shooters don’t follow their shot because 1. they’re lazy or 2. they think it’s going in.

Who is the toughest player that you have faced in a game this season, along with the team they were on?

Jacob Spurlock was tough with Boyd County; we played neck and neck with them.

What has been your biggest moment on the court?

Last night I scored my career high and broke the Powell County all-time record of 3-pointers made in a game. (11)

Can the fans and/or cheerleaders get you fired up before or during the game? Explain

When fans start talking crazy to me or especially to another player from the opposing team, I just smile and give them 30.

What is the toughest drill to do during practice?

My high school coach has this conditioning drill called a Riley; it’s awful.

What is your game day routine?

I like to make sure and stay consistent on every game day. Reading my Bible, eating breakfast, showering, and getting shots up before a game are key to me. And of course, stretch.

What is something you would love to do in a game but might never have the chance to?

I would love to get my first in-game dunk.

What is your go-to snack?

Trolli gummy worms for sure

What is a style or fad that your generation has that you just don't get?

Ice cream hair 🤣

What sport would you love to do but lack the skill set to do?

I would love to be really, really good at golf.
