Please post something from last season that sticks out to you. It can be from a game, practice, or something funny on the bus ride to or from the game. Any moment that sticks out to you.
Going out to dinner with my coach and teammates and devouring the menu.
Looking back on your career, which win meant the most? Explain
I’d say Blue Mountain this past season because I came from there. Also, it was the first time since 2018 that we beat them.
What was your biggest moment as a high school football player?
My biggest moment was probably scoring seven touchdowns against Minersville and then running for 333 yards against Williams Valley back-to-back weeks my junior year.
What are you going to miss the most from playing high school football?
I’m going to miss my coaches; they’ve taught me not only how to play football but other lessons in life as well.
What were your feelings as you walked off the field for the last time as a member of the Schuylkill Haven High School football team?
I was obviously disappointed because things didn’t go the way I hoped they’d go.
When we spoke last, two things you wanted to work on were your vision and cuts? How did this go?
They definitely improved, but I learned hitting things at 100 MPH and going pure north was the most important.
You broke your leg in week four of the season. How has rehab gone, and will you be ready for the all-star games you are to play in?
Rehab went well. I didn’t have any limitations during that whole process. I will be ready to play during the spring.
Do you feel that the transfer portal in college football has made things harder for high school players as far as getting recruited?
Definitely, the roster sizes haven’t changed, but the people occupying those spots have been there longer than they used to. Also, the fact that some colleges take transfer portal players first and then high schoolers second.
What has been the best part of the recruiting process?
The best part was the fondness and appreciation that the coaches showed towards me.
What has been the worst part of the recruiting process?
My injury.
Can you share with the readers some of the schools that recruited you? Bloomsburg, Kutztown, Stonehill, and Seton Hill.
What made you choose Bloomsburg University? The opportunity and the faith they showed towards me.
You have one hour to sit and speak to any athlete, past or present. Who are you speaking with?
Saquon Barkley; he’s dealt with major injuries and overcame those and won a Super Bowl shortly after. I think he’d be very knowledgeable towards the questions I'd ask him.
What is a style or fad that your generation has that you do not get or understand?
Hairstyles
Outside of sports, what are you doing for fun?
I’m just working out and getting ready for the upcoming track season and all-star games.
