Playing in a District Championship

Can you let the readers know the difficulties of being a three-sport athlete in high school?

It’s pretty much impossible to put equal amounts of time into each sport with schoolwork and practices. So you kind of have to choose a sport or two to really focus on and get better at.

What is the toughest drill you do during practice?

Running ladders at basketball (conditioning)

What is your favorite drill to do at practice?

Team offense and getting to play

Should there be a shot clock in high school basketball?

Yes, but it should be longer, maybe around 35–37 seconds.

Who has been the best player that you have faced in a game, along with the team he was on?

Eli Sancomb - Wheeling Central Catholic

Which road gym is the toughest to play in? Explain

Wheelersburg. Their student section is always loud.

How would you describe your style of play?

I usually let my teammates get going first and find ways to capitalize off of the other team's mistakes.

What is something you want to do in a game but might not get a chance to?

Hit a game-winning shot.

A big game last year for me was the game against Eastern Pike; even though the score didn’t show it, I feel like I had a good game on both sides of the ball. Eastern is always a good game.
