What was the biggest moment in your high school football career?
The biggest moment in my high school career would be when we played Nicholas County and I had an 18-tackle game.
What win meant the most to you?
The win that meant the most to me was beating Sayre in the second round of playoffs.
Which loss stung the most?
The loss that stung the most would be when we first played Raceland, coming in not as energetic, missing some key players, and not fully locked in.
What mark do you feel your class left on the football program?
The 2026 class really demonstrated what hard work and dedication to the football program look like.
What was the biggest lesson you have learned from playing high school football?
The biggest lesson from playing high school football is definitely learning to trust your coach. Coach Dane and McPeek always told us to trust each other and the coaches because without trust, a football team can't really function.
What were you feeling as you walked off the field for the last time as a high school football player?
After that last game, I was definitely a bit hurt by the loss, but I feel honored to have played football because it’s not a privilege—it takes hard work and dedication to compete.
What will you miss the most from playing high school football?
I will miss my teammates the most because we all have been through thick and thin with practicing on early mornings, grinding in the weight room, and adapting to a new coaching staff. But, in the end, we all had fun, and it was a great experience.
Who was the best player that you faced in a game, along with the team he was on?
The best player I faced would be Landon Stiltner from Raceland, KY.
What made you a good teammate?
I think what made me a good teammate was when, in tough times, I kept my teammates' heads up.
How would you describe your style of play?
I would describe my style of play as being aggressive because football is the only sport where you can hit someone and not get in any trouble unless it is illegal, of course, but I liked to come downhill a lot as a linebacker.
Why should a college coach recruit you?
A college coach should recruit me because I am a passionate football athlete with a drive for excellence and teamwork. Always pushing limits, helping teammates, and inspiring on and off the field. Ready to take the game to the next level.
Would you share with the readers how the recruiting process has gone, along with some schools that you have heard from?
Great question. The recruiting process is moving quickly, and I’ve been in contact with several schools. It’s been a great learning experience so far.
What scares you?
Injuries, even though they are bound to happen in a heavy-contact sport, scare me the most.
What is a style or fad that your generation has that you just do not get?
The new 67 trend.
Outside of sports, what are you doing for fun?
Outside of sports, I like to hang out with my buddies Landon and Guy as well as fish.
