Please post something from last season that sticks out to you. It can be from a game, practice, or something funny on the bus ride to or from the game. Any moment that sticks out to you

We were always motivated during practice, whether it be running sprints while it's 90 degrees outside or competing and hitting each other as hard as possible in 40-degree weather. We were always motivated.

What were your feelings as you walked off the field for the last time as a member of the Bullitt East football team?

Heartbreaking, I left my all on the field for the team, and we came up short every year.

What mark do you feel your class left on the football program? Our class was one of the best to come through the high school.

We had lots of leaders on the team who had been playing 2–3 years at this point, so we left them knowing that we were effective leaders and collaborators.

What was your biggest moment as a football player?

Probably winning the state championship and getting to practice with the varsity throughout the playoffs. Really taught me what playing varsity was all about.

What was the biggest lesson you learned from playing high school football?

Football has taught me to be mentally strong through any situation. It pushes you to your limits, similar to life.

Who was the toughest teammate to square up against during practice?

Baron Hardesty in a board drill is probably one of the hardest things I have ever done as a player. Dude is mean and tough as nails! It sucks that he got hurt when he did because he made me a better player every time he was on the field.

Who was the best player that you faced in a game, along with the team he was on?

Zai'vion Meads when he played at Lou. Central my junior year, he now plays at Atherton and is a 3-4 star athlete. Josiah Hope is a dude too, a 4-star from North Hardin who committed to Purdue. Will never stop talking trash to him, but I have to admit he is a game-changer.

What makes you a good teammate?

I don't like to brag about myself, but I hold my teammates to a high standard. I expect that if I am going to lay my body on the line for my teammates, they will do the same for me.

How would you describe your style of play?

I would say I play with a pretty high motor, playing through the whistle, and I even got flagged for it a couple of times. Ruthless aggression always searching for a pancake block.

Why should a college coach recruit you?

College coaches should recruit me for my style of play, my ability to get it done in the classroom, and my dedication to the sport.

What was the best part of the recruiting process?

The best part was when I was getting the recognition from coaches, and how they complimented my style of play; one even compared me to an NFL-level offensive lineman!

What was the toughest part of the recruiting process?

The toughest part was the stress from multiple schools recruiting you at once, and then not knowing where exactly you want to go even though all the programs are wonderful and treat you like family.

Would you share with the readers some of the schools that recruited you?

I had multiple offers from the NAIA and D3 levels, including Campbellsville University (committed), Lindsey Wilson, Rio Grande, St. Mary of the Woods, Capital University, and Kentucky Christian, and I had interest from many more!

Would you share with the readers the school that you committed to, as well as the biggest reason you chose to go there?

I just committed last week or two, but I have committed to Campbellsville University. The big reasons I committed were because it's close to home, the cost to attend, and the coaching staff making me feel like I needed to be a Tiger!

Who are your role models?

My parents, big time. They show me what it means to have a work ethic and encourage me to take after them.

What is your favorite style of music?

I have multiple: rap, country, and rock.

What is your favorite holiday?

My favorite holiday is Christmas time.
