Please post something from last season that sticks out to you. It can be from a game, practice, or something funny on the bus ride to or from the game. Any moment that sticks out to you.
Probably against Summit Country Day when I scored 2 touchdowns or our senior night flag football game.
What were your feelings as you walked off the field for the last time as a high school football player?
I felt pretty sad but also pretty motivated that Kim is onto the next step of life, making it big in the football world and life in general, but it isn’t the end, just a new chapter that I need to start in life.
What mark do you feel your class left on the St. Bernard-Elmwood Place football program?
I feel that we left a mark that shows how strong and determined our class was to put a banner in our gym, which we accomplished for the first time in school history.
Now that the high school portion of your football career is over. Do you think private schools have unfair advantages over public schools?
I feel pretty split on it because private schools have access to better resources, but also I feel public schools have more heart and work harder.
What do you feel needs to change for St. Bernard-Elmwood Place to become not only a yearly playoff team but also a legit state champion threat?
I feel that it’s the work ethic that’s needed more out of the players themselves, not just the coaches. I feel we could have been a nice playoff team last year and the previous year, but due to injuries and lack of focus, that couldn’t happen.
What will you miss the most from playing high school football?
I will miss all of my teammates and memories that could be with them.
What was the biggest lesson that you learned from playing high school football?
Time goes by very fast, so enjoy it and go 100%.
What was the highlight of the 2025 season?
Winning a conference championship and putting a banner in our gym
What was the lowest part of the 2025 season?
Losing the first game of the season, which we know we should have won
How would you describe your style of play to a college coach?
I would say I’m a very versatile player and can block and catch and even run if needed.
What position are you hoping to play at the college level?
TE
What has been the best and worst part of the recruiting season?
The best part would be knowing that other coaches are actually seeing my potential.
The worst part would be that I feel I could’ve prepared myself more, and my injury my junior year, I feel, made coaches skip on me.
Would you share with the readers some of the schools that you are hearing from?
Georgetown College
Tusculum University
Mount St. Joseph
Muskingum University
Ohio Dominican
What is a style or fad that your generation has that you do not get or understand?
Not as hard of a work ethic as I’ve noticed in some people and the willingness to give up. Why would you give up or not work hard when you're doing something you love?
If you could sit down and talk to anyone from history, who would you talk with?
Muhamad Ali and ask about his mentality.
What is your favorite snack?
I love trail mix and yogurt-covered raisins
