Please post something from last season that sticks out to you. It can be from a game, practice, or something funny on the bus ride to or from the game. Any moment that sticks out to you.

When I suffered a season-ending injury my junior year during a game, it just made me want to fight harder and come back for the next season.

What was the best part of playing high school football?

Being with my teammates and just getting to play/practice with them every day and Friday nights

What was the toughest part of playing high school football?

I’d say the toughest part is probably not getting the results you want after a game.

What was the highlight of your career?

My pick 6 against Bullitt East in the first round of playoffs put us up 21-20.

Which win meant the most during your career?

Our win against Valley—they were 5-0 before playing us.

Which loss stung the most?

Bullitt East, it was a win-or-go-home game, first round of playoffs.

Now that high school football is through, do you feel private schools have an unfair advantage over public schools?

I mean, football is football; not every private school is really good, and not all schools are really bad. I’d say it’s an equal opportunity.

What made you a good high school teammate?

Probably how competitive I get at practice, trying to keep my teammates focused and hard-working.

What was the biggest life lesson you learned from playing football?

The game isn’t based on sympathy.

Who was the best player you faced in a game, along with the team he was on?

There was no player I’d say was the best, but I’d say LCA was a good team.

Why should a college coach recruit you?

I am a hard-working student in the classroom and a tough competitor and overall good teammate on the field.

What has been the best part of the recruiting process?

Getting to know the coaches and building a strong connection and visiting the campuses

Can you share with the readers some of the colleges you are hearing from?

I am hearing from Kentucky Wesleyan, McPherson College, Capital University, Transylvania University, Indiana Tech, Bellarmine University, etc.

What is a style or fad that your generation has that you just don't get or understand?

The chains on pants—I don’t really understand that.

If you could have one hour to speak to anyone throughout history, who would you speak with?

Muhammad Ali

What scares you?

Snakes
