Please post something from last season that sticks out to you. It can be from a game, practice, or something funny on the bus ride to or from the game. Any moment that sticks out to you.

A moment that sticks out to me is really when our team went on a visit to Tiffin this offseason. It brought us much closer and made us more like brothers.

What was your biggest moment on the field as a high school football player?

My biggest moment on the field was when I pancaked Tyrell O’Neal, the 3-star from Benedictine High School.

Which win meant the most? Explain

The win that meant the most to me is probably CCC. The last 2 years I've been at Lutheran East, we played them; the first time we lost, so it felt nice to get back in the win column.

What was the best part of playing high school football?

The best part of high school football to me is the brotherhoods you get from it; when you're on a football team, it's like being in a big family.

What do you wish you would have done differently now that high school football is over?

What I wish that I did differently is playing junior year. I feel like if I played junior year this year, it would’ve gone completely different. I would also say school is very important, even in athletics.

What was the biggest lesson you learned from playing high school sports?

The biggest lesson that I learned is that when you put your mind to something, you can do it. Don’t give up, and keep trying and trying; you can be successful.

Who was the best player that you faced in a game, along with the team he was on?

The best player I played this season is Tyrell O’Neal from Benedictine. He is very fast for his size. I tell you that I hope that he is very successful at the next level.

What were your feelings as you walked off the field for the last time as a high school football player?

My feelings were all over the place. Even though the game didn’t go like how I wanted it to go, I was sad, angry, and surprised that it was my last time playing on that field, the field that I started my varsity career on.

What will you miss the most from playing high school football?

I’m going to miss the summer practices with my boys and all the car rides with Coach Curtain, Devontae Miller, and Stacey Miller.

What mark do you feel your class left on the football program?

I feel like we left the mark as the start of the new program with Coach Curtain. I feel like he is going to be one of the best head coaches the school has seen in a long time.

If you are invited to play in any of the all-star games, will you? Explain

If I’m invited, yes, I would play. It would be my last time playing with those guys in a real high school football game, so I wouldn’t take it for granted.

Are you hearing from any schools? If so, would you name some of them?

I’m hearing from 2 schools right now; hopefully more. I’m currently hearing from OVCC and the Howard Huskies.

What was the toughest aspect of being a student-athlete?

The toughest aspect of being a student athlete is getting home late now from practice and then having to do homework. It was a pain, but you have to do it. The student in student athlete comes first for a reason.

What scares you?

What scares me is me being a failure. I know some people are looking towards me being successful, especially since I'm the first person in my family to attend college.

Who are your role models?

I would say my role models are Coach Curtain and my grandfather.

What is your dream job?

My dream job is to be a sports agent.
