Please post something from last season that sticks out to you. It can be from a game, practice, or something funny on the bus ride to or from the game. Any moment that sticks out to you.
On the way to play Allen County, we stopped at a park in Russellville. The bus had a tight turn and dropped a front and rear tire in the ditch. Turned out to be fine, but we all thought we were stuck!
What will you miss the most from playing high school football?
I grew up playing ball with some good friends. I’m going to miss being around them all the time.
What were your feelings as you walked off the field for the last time as a high school football player?
I was in disbelief. I was just sad that chapter was over.
What was the best part of the 2025 season?
Earning our way to the playoffs for the first time since 2020!
What mark do you feel your class left on the football program?
We left it better than we found it. Went 0-10 as freshmen. Leaving with the first winning season in a decade.
If you are invited to play in any of the all-star games, will you? Explain
Probably not. High risk and low reward.
TE/RB/LB: Of the three positions that you are listed as playing, which one do you feel you are the best at?
I’m being recruited as an LB. I won all my postseason awards as an RB. I’m not sure. I just love to play football!
What was the highlight of your high school football career?
Setting a school record for rushing touchdowns in a season.
Which win meant the most?
Beating Marshall County on senior night to end their season!
What was the biggest lesson that you learned from playing high school football?
Nothing comes easy. If you want results, you’ve got to work hard for it.
Do you feel as though private schools have unfair advantages over public schools?
Maybe? It’s hard to say because it seems like there is movement of players frequently on public school teams yearly too. Maybe it’s easier for private schools to skirt the rules. I don’t think private schools are the only ones out recruiting.
Who was the best player that you faced in a game, along with the team they were on?
Jarvis Strickland or Ben Myers (OTs) from Paducah Tilghman. Maybe it’s a combo of both, but as an LB, they can create problems getting to the ball. Happy I got to play against them!
What has been the best part of the recruiting process?
Being able to see what each school is all about has been fun. The 1st moment that I knew where home was going to be was the best part! I’m very excited to have committed to Lindsey Wilson University.
What's been the worst part of the recruiting process?
So many great people have put time and effort into recruiting me. Relationships get built in all those places & I’m very grateful. The hardest part was telling the coaches who I didn’t pick, that I would be going somewhere else.
Why should a college coach recruit you?
I hope my film shows your readers. I don’t like to brag.
