Please post something from last season, like a big game you had, something about a certain game, something from a bus ride to or from the game, or something that sticks out from a practice. Anything that sticks out to you.
2 things stick out: beating Highland to make it to the sectionals' championship game and senior night. It was a horrible rainstorm; it was cold and pouring, but we still played, mud and all. Seeing all the people and my family who came out with signs and cheering us on even though it was miserable will definitely be a memory I keep forever.
What were your feelings as you walked off the field for the last time as a high school football player?
I just couldn't believe how quickly it went.
What will you miss the most from playing high school football?
I'll definitely miss my teammates for sure and the weekly team dinners.
What mark do you feel your class left on the football program?
We were the ones who were there when we went from 8 men to 11 men. We lost every game that season. I'm just 3 years old. We had a winning record and made it to sectionals the following 2 years.
What was the best part of playing football for Dover?
Being a part of a team who cared about each other. We had a great coaching staff and great teammates.
Which win meant the most over your high school career?
Absolutely beating Highland to make it to sectionals
Which loss stung the most?
Losing to Chester in sectionals was tough.
DE, TE, WR: Which of those positions do you believe you were better at?
Defensive end is what I feel I'm the best at.
Of the three positions listed above, which one was the toughest to prepare for?
Wide receiver was the toughest. The fear of not catching the ball or dropping it was always on my mind.
How would you describe your style of play to a college coach?
I would describe my style of playing as a team player. I'm focused, and I work hard to better myself. I'm a leader; I want my team to be successful.
Why should a college coach recruit you?
I feel I should be recruited because I'm dedicated to being the best I can be. I listen to feedback, adjust when I need to, and will push myself to the max.
Are you hoping to play football or basketball in college?
This is a tough question. Basketball has always been my passion, but I love the energy on the football field. I'll be grateful for whatever options I am given.
Would you share with the readers some of the colleges you are hearing from along with the sport they are recruiting you for? I
I've had a few D3 and Juco colleges reach out for basketball, but I'm not interested in them at this time. SUNY Adirondack reached out and wants me to go up and visit, and I also received an offer to play on the D-line starting at Norwich, which is my top pick at this time given it is a military college and military life is my plan for after I obtain a degree, but anything can happen, so I'm keeping my options open at this time.
Outside of sports, what are you doing for fun?
I spend a lot of time hanging out with my girlfriend and friends. I like to go fishing and drive around listening to music.
What is your favorite class or subject?
English
What is something that your generation does that you do not get?
I don't get how we can't live without technology, specifically our phones.
