Something from last season that stood out?
We had a very fun and competitive game vs Wheeling Central last year in which we came back 20 points that went down to the wire, ending up losing 67-64, but it was a very fun game.
Personal goals for the season?
Have fun, stay healthy, make it back to Athens, and score my 1000th point.
What goals have you set for your team?
To be us, have fun, push ourselves every day that we have an opportunity, and make it back to where we all know we can go.
After final cuts were made, was there one teammate that shocked you with the way he looked leading up to the final cuts?
No.
As a team, you guys are off to a slow start. What needs to change to right the ship and set up a nice tourney run?
I think we need to continue to build on what all needs to be built on, and we will be fine and stay together as a team, and everything else will fall into place.
How would you describe your style of play?
Dangerous from the 3, long on defense so makes defenders have a hard time getting by, dangerous in transition, and loves to pass the ball and get my teammates open looks.
What makes you a good teammate?
I’d say I push everyone to be their best. I always make sure everyone gets the ball and is in the right spots on plays, defense, or whatever it is. I always have my teammates' back no matter what the situation is.
Should there be a shot clock in high school basketball?
I think there should be. It would be fun and more fast-paced. My team got to play in the shot clock shootout last year, but I was injured, so I personally did not get to play, but from a watching standpoint, it looked fun and more exciting.
What has been your biggest moment on the court?
Hitting an and-1 3 vs. Coshocton late in the 4th quarter in the sectional final sophomore year
What is the strongest part of your game?
Shooting.
Who is the best player that you have faced in a game, along with the team he was on?
Eli Sancomb, Wheeling Central (Current)
Why should a college coach recruit you?
If they see my game, they will see that I can provide anything you need out of me.
Have you heard from any colleges? If so, would you name some of them?
Yes, Malone University, Bethany College, Franciscan University, and a few others.
What scares you?
Not being able to leave the mark on the earth that I want to leave.
Who are your role models?
My mom and my stepdad.
What is a style or fad that your generation has that you do not get?
Shoes with no socks. You gotta be wearing socks at all times.
