What has been the toughest part of the season?

Not having the results on the field is always what we want. We’ve had a lot of close games this season that haven’t ended up going our way.

What has been the best part of the season?

Just getting on the field and competing. We have a very solid team this year with some great athletes, and it’s fun to play with this group of guys.

What is the biggest lesson you have learned about yourselfduring the season?

I think I’ve just proven to myself that I’m resilient as a player. Things don’t always go the way you want, but that doesn’t stop me from always giving 100 percent every time I’m in the field.

Who has been the best player that you have faced this season, along with the team they were on?

The running back from Niles, Alex Anderson. He was super shifty and had a lot of speed. He could make you miss and had breakaway speed.

Who has been the best team that you have faced this season, along with the thing that made them so good?

Niles. They are just a really efficient team, and they have a lot of really good athletes.

What has been your biggest moment on the field this season?

As a team it has been beating Vicksburg, which has been one of the best teams in our conference. Personally, one of my biggest moments was scoring an 87-yard touchdown reception, which turned out to be a school record.

After all of the practices were completed leading up to your week one game against Pennfield, what were your personal goals?

One of my personal goals going into week one was just getting my first varsity touchdown. I was never able to get in the end zone last year, so I wanted to start off strong, and thankfully I was able to.

After all of the practices were completed leading up to your week one game against Pennfield, what were the goals you had set for your team?

As a team we just wanted to prove that we were one of the best in the conference. While our overall record doesn’t show that, I still believe that we have some of the best athletes around.

Of the two remaining games, which one are you looking forward to the most? Explain

Plainwell, definitely. Plainwell is our crosstown rival, and it’s always a game filled with tons of energy and passion. This year it’s our final game of the season, which makes it even better. I expect it to be a good one.

Which road stadium that you played in this season has been the best to have played in, along with the thing or things that made it so good?

Niles. They have a good field. I think some people don’t like playing there because there’s always a ton of noise (music, sound effects, fireworks), but I like hype environments even if they are against me.

Which stadium has been the worst to have played in this season, along with the thing that made it so bad?

Paw Paw. They have a grass field in which it always seems like the grass is too long. Just don’t love playing on it personally.

How have you grown as a player this season in a way that you feel will make you not only a better player but also a better teammate?

I think that I have definitely grown as a receiver this season. I feel sharper in my routes and have felt like I can always get open. I put a lot of work in this off-season, and I feel like it’s paying of this year for sure.

Vikings

What is your favorite class or subject?
