Fairport Harding 47 Buckeye Central 6

As you walked up to the ticket booth, there were rosters for both teams provided for the fans who wanted them. I think every school should have this.

Hunter Caudill was thrown for a 2-yard loss by Yonar Castellano, setting the tempo in this one for the Skippers defense. Then Abraham Castellano picked off a pass thrown by Buckeye Central quarterback Jack Phillips, with 10:41 showing on the first-quarter clock.

The Buckeye Central defense stood tall at the 7:14 mark with Lance Cole sacking Brady Lawson for a loss of 11 yards. Cole picked up another sack 17 seconds later. The Skippers' offense got rolling when Abraham Castellano broke three arm tackles on his way to a 40-yard run. Yonar Castellano brought in a pass thrown by Lawson to set up a Skippers first and goal at the 2-yard line. Abraham Castellano pranced into the end zone, aided by the hard work from the offensive line, to make this a 6-0 game with 4:50 left on the clock.

The onside kick bounced off of a Bucks up man. and falling on it for the Skippers was Cale Milliman. Lawson would be sacked by Donnie Fourtner for a loss of 12 yards at the 4:30 mark. Abraham Castellano ran for 12 yards to help set up a Lawson to Diego Dambolena 19-yard score. Lawson connected with Brandon Gibson Jr. on the two-point conversion try, making this a 14-0 game with 3:00 left in the quarter.

Just 0:12 seconds into the 2nd quarter, this was a 21-0 game on a 70-yard touchdown pass by Lawson to Gibson Jr. The Skippers' defense got a nice play from Milliman, who stopped Austin Biger for a loss of two, setting up a fourth and four for the Bucks. The Bucks finally got on the board with 5:24 left in the half when Bogner scored on a 3-yard run. A bad snap on the conversion try allowed Milliman to make another tackle for a loss.

After Lawson was sacked by Cole, he recovered nicely by hitting Yonar Castellano for a gain of five to set up a first and goal. Abraham Castellano plowed in from the four, with Elijah Harless hitting the PAT to make this a 28-6 game. The half ended with Milliman, Trey Vaughan, and Dionte Ivory teaming up to sack Phillips for a loss of eight.

Fairport Harding used two completions from Lawson to Yonar Castellano for 52 yards, then Lawson found Gibson Jr. for the 18-yard score to make this a 34-6 game with 7:56 left in the third. Before the quarter came to a close, the Skippers would get a 20-yard completion from Lawson to Gibson Jr. to set up the final score of the quarter, with Lawson connecting with Shane Greenwood from 25 yards out, making this a 41-6 score.

The final score of the game came on a Lawson to Yonar Castellano pass from 18 yards out to make the final score 47-6.
