Post a small recap of last season with personal highlights and any other big moments you have and memories you have from last season, whether it be a game, the bus ride to or from the game, or any other thing that sticks out.
The past few seasons have been like something out of a movie. I transferred to Elkins, AR, in junior high. Since then, we have had back-to-back undefeated seasons.
See the attachment at the bottom for last year's favorite season highlights.
What are your goals for the 2025 season?
My goal for the 2025 season is to leave it all on the field! I’m focused and determined.
What goals are you setting for the team?
Back-to-back conference titles 3x, semi-finals 2024, and state playoff 2025. This year, we are looking to be better than the last. All that is left is securing a state championship title.
What was the highlight of the 2024 season?
Game against Dardanelle! Left them scoreless on a 50+ point game. I had a pick 6, followed by another pick. That’s my favorite highlight from last season.
What makes you a good teammate?
I make a good teammate due to the fact I am a natural leader. Also, I feel it is important that your team can count on you off the field. One call, and I’m there! When we are on the field, I’m one of the most aggressive players on the team and pride myself on a relentless work ethic.
What has been your biggest moment as an athlete, in any sport, at any age?
Aside from being baptized and giving my life to Jesus, my biggest moment hasn’t come yet. That will be the day I commit to a college to play football.
What do you feel is the strongest part of your game?
The strongest part of my game is that I am coachable and & will give 100% in practice as well as in the game! My speed is getting faster, and I’ve put on 50 lbs this past year, which makes me proud.
Who is the best player that you have faced, along with the team he was on?
This is a tough question, as I know many good players. It's hard to pick the best when you compete with the best! To date, I’d say one of the best athletes I’ve seen in Arkansas anyhow is Mason Ball. He plays for Coach Reggie out of Little Rock. That guy gives his all; he and & Coach Reggie are a great inspiration!
Turf or grass?
Grass all day!
What is your favorite part of practice?
Weight room
What is your least favorite part of practice?
Waiting for an opportunity to get reps.
What is your game-day routine?
My game day routine is simple! Hydrate, get plenty of rest the night before the game, eat well the next morning, and come in HYPE!
What advice would you give the first-year starter right before you take the field on opening night?
I’d say preparation is key. There really is no ‘off season’ in my home. I train year-round and get better before each season. I’d say to them, ‘If you stay ready, you don’t have to get ready.’
Outside of sports, what are you doing for fun?
Outside of sports, I enjoy the outdoors! Love to fish and hunt at our White River farm outside Mt. Home. Also enjoy 4x4-ing and & hanging out with my friends.
Which state would you like to visit for the first time?
I have been blessed to travel frequently but have never been to Alaska! It’s definitely on my wish list to see.
Who are your role models?
My role models are God and & my family. God comes first in all I do because I wouldn’t have made it this far without his grace. My grandfather is retired state police and taught me what hard work looks like. My father is also dedicated to his career, yet he always made time for me and put my life first. My mom, she’s the FIRE of the family, the reason I play football. She’s been here from the start and never allows me to give anything but my best! Win or lose, she’s always in my corner.
