What are your goals for the season?

I want to be 1st team all-conference this year.

What goals are you setting for your team?

To be state champs in the 5A class.

What do you feel is the strongest part of your game?

I think the strongest part of my game is my motor to play the game of football.

What have you done during the off-season to help you become a better player?

Getting together with my teammates and building a connection and pushing each other to be the best we can be.

Would you share with the readers some of the camps that you have attended, along with the biggest lessons you have learned from the camps?

I attended the Hanover College Big Man Camp, and I thought it was a very good atmosphere. I learned a lot about how to fight hands and how to get the best angles on the offensive lineman’s body.

What is the best part of being a defensive lineman?

The best part is creating havoc and disruption to the offensive plans; it’s the best feeling.

What is the toughest part of being a lineman?

It would probably not be getting the credit we deserve up front.

What makes you a good teammate?

 When I see one of my teammates struggling, especially a younger guy, I’ll come over and let him know he’s all good.

Would you rather kick the season off with your rival, or end the regular season with them?

Explain 

I would want our rival for the very first game so we can set the tone for our season off to a strong start.

Should every team make the playoffs?

No, I don’t think every team should make the playoffs. The playoffs are earned, not given.

If you are invited to play in the North vs. South game after the season, will you play?

That would be an honor to play in that game.

Why should a college coach recruit you?

I’m willing to do whatever it takes to win.

Where is the best local spot to grab a bite?

I would say Skyline is the best spot no matter how you feel.

What is your favorite class or subject?

My favorite class is history.

What is your favorite holiday?

Christmas, just because I like the weather and all the family getting together.

A big game last year for me was the game against Eastern Pike; even though the score didn’t show it, I feel like I had a good game on both sides of the ball. Eastern is always a good game.
