Please post a small recap of last season with something like a big game you had, something about a certain game, something from a bus ride to or from the game, or something that sticks out from a practice.
Week 4 vs. Redjacket, with over 200 yards rushing and 2 rushing touchdowns, then passing for over 200 yards with 4 passing touchdowns. Also, week 1 vs. Allegheny: having over 200 rushing yards with 2 rushing touchdowns and having over 150 passing yards with 1 passing touchdown.
What was the best part of the 2024 season?
Winning sections with a winning record and earning First Team All-State.
What was the toughest part of the 2024 season?
Going through adversity, having guys get hurt, and having some freshmen stand up and take upon that role.
What is the best part of being a quarterback?
You get to control the game. I love the pressure, the spotlight, and the challenge of delivering when it matters most. Also, the connection I have with everyone on my team. They go to me when they don't know the play or formation.
What is the toughest part of being the quarterback?
Being the emotional and mental leader. No matter if we're winning or losing, I have to set the tone. I can't show frustration; I have to keep them focused and locked in.
What makes you a good teammate?
I put the team first. Always encouraging guys, taking responsibility. I show up on time and am always ready to put more work in.
Why should a college coach recruit you?
I love the game; I always work hard. I will play wherever they need me and play to the best of my ability.
How would you describe your style of play?
I'm a dual-threat QB. I keep my eyes downfield and look to throw first. I am comfortable escaping the pocket, making plays to extend the drive and to make more opportunities.
What do you feel is the strongest part of your game?
My composure is my biggest strength. No matter the situation, I stay calm and focused.
Would you share with the readers some of the camps you have attended this off-season and the biggest lesson you have learned from the camps?
I have attended Alfred U camp, Allegheny camp, Wofford, Mercyhurst, and a few more. The biggest lesson I have learned is that there is always going to be someone bigger, faster, and stronger than you. You always have to put in more work.
What defense do you enjoy going against the most?
Cover 3, it’s zone-based, There are always spots in the field that are open. It also makes it a little easier for the receivers; they can just sit in the open field instead of running into the defenders zone.
Turf or grass?
Grass has more give. Turf has very little give, and you are always bleeding from the turf burn.
How often are you watching game film on your own?
I try to watch film at least 1 hour a day; there is always something you can work on.
What are you doing outside of sports for fun?
I work out, go on the lake with family and friends, and go fishing.
Who is your favorite athlete?
Jaxson Dart
What is the one sport that you cannot watch?
Tennis—I have watched a few matches and can't find the love for it.
