What will you miss the most from the 2025 class?

The energy the seniors brought to practice every week.

How have you grown as a player from last season to this season?

Becoming less selfish and knowing I won’t always make the play and sticking to doing my job as best as I can

What are you looking forward to the most this season?

Week 10 Against Big Walnut

What is your favorite weather to play in?

In the rain

What part of your game do you feel is the strongest?

My pass rush on 3rd and long is my strongest part of my game.

Who has been the best player you have played against in a game, along with the team he was on?

Jake Cook, Westerville North

What makes you a good teammate?

Knowing you can come to me for help and I won’t be the one to yell and give up on you

Why should a college coach recruit you?

Because there’s no one like me, and I’m very coachable and love to work and compete.

Can the fans, band, and cheerleaders get you fired up before and/or during the game?

Always love the energy for the band, cheerleaders, and fans before and during the game.

What is the best part of the first day of practice?

Knowing that the season is back, and it’s time to work

What advice will you give that first-year starter before taking the field on opening night?

Just play football and do your job.

Would you share with the readers some of the colleges you are hearing from, along with any offers you have received?

I currently hold two FBS offers from Miami of Ohio and Eastern Michigan. Been talking with other MAC schools and some ACC and B1G schools.

I’m going to miss the amount of leadership the 2025 class had, but luckily the 2026 class has many leaders as well. What were your personal goals for the 2024 season? Athens Bulldogs use balanced attack to down Wellston Golden Rockets 41-0

  *Using the rosters from both Hudl and Max Preps* The Plains, OH Last night I made the hour-long drive to Athens High School to watch the Bulldogs host the Golden Rockets of Wellston. Entering the game, the Bulldogs came in 7-0 and ranked number 10 in division three. Wellston, much improved from last season, entered 5-2. In the game last year, Athens won 47-28. Wellston started out doing exactly what they needed to do to have a shot at winning the game. They came out and ate most of the first quarter with a drive that had last for 15 plays going for 69 yards. Things would start going wrong for them on the sixteenth play of the drive. They faced fourth and four from the Bulldogs five, and they elected to go for it, where the pass and the second attempt of the drive fell incomplete, forcing a turnover on downs. On the drive facing a third and one, Seth Lambert picked up twelve. Later on the drive facing third and fifth, Johhny Scott picked up 10-yards after he could not find anyon...
