Please post a small recap of last season with something like a big game you had, something about a certain game, something from a bus ride to or from the game, or something that sticks out from a practice.
A small recap I often think about is beating Tiffin Columbian on our homecoming. We came out at half losing 14-3 and ended up winning 38-20. I ended up with 4 rushing touchdowns along with an interception in the second half. It truly felt like the whole community had our backs that night.
Football, baseball, and basketball: How long have you played each sport?
I’ve played football for 10, baseball for 13, and basketball for 11.
Of the three sports that you play, which one do you feel you are best at?
I feel that football has been my best sport, with baseball just behind it.
How did the baseball and basketball seasons go for you?
The baseball and basketball seasons were great this year. Both were winning seasons.
What are your goals for the 2025 football season?
Account for 3000 all-purpose, yards along with 50 TDs. Receive first-team All-Ohio.
What goals are you setting for your team?
Win SBC. Have home playoff games. Make a deep run in Division VI.
What makes you a good teammate?
I am a good teammate because I am reliable and accountable in the heat of the moment. I will communicate clearly when it is needed. I treat all teammates and staff with the utmost respect.
Why should a college coach recruit you?
I'm coachable, driven, and committed to constant improvement—not just for myself, but for the team. I bring energy every day, whether it's a game, practice, or in the weight room. I take pride in doing the little things right: showing up early, leading by example, and pushing my teammates to be their best. I stay focused under pressure, bounce back from setbacks, and always look for ways to grow.
Quarterback or defensive back, which position do you feel you are better at?
I feel I am better on the defensive side of the ball. I am versatile and can play many positions at a high caliber.
What type of defense do you like facing the most?
I like facing a 4-3 the most. I feel I am able to make the proper reeds without being too pressured.
As an athlete, what has been your biggest moment?
My biggest moment was beating Tiffin Columbian. Showing the community and whole area what I can do on the field was a big moment for me.
As an athlete, what has been your most embarrassing moment?
I’d say the toughest moment or most embarrassing moment was losing a game to a rival that I feel we shouldn’t have.
How would you describe your style of play?
On the offensive side of the ball, I feel I am a dual-threat quarterback. On the defensive side of the ball, I feel I am a reliable playmaker.
Can the fans, band, and cheerleaders get you fired up before and/or during the game?
Definitely. Playing in front of a larger crowd with the community supporting means the world.
What does community buy-in mean to you?
Community buy-in to me is much larger than just the game of football. It’s respecting and supporting one another when it’s needed.
After the season is over, if you are invited to play in any of the all-star games, will you?
Definitely
What scares you?
Being average
What is your favorite type of music?
Country
Have you been to Cedar Point?
Yes, many times.
