Post a small recap of last season with something like a big game you had, something about a certain game, something from a bus ride to or from the game, or something that sticks out from a practice.
The season was a lot of fun. The team had a lot of senior leadership. Nine out of eleven starters on defense were seniors. I transferred in, so I appreciate how they accepted me from day one. We didn’t finish how we wanted, but we were hands down the best defense in the state. One of the best ever. Every day there was something to learn.
First, how did your basketball season go?
Basketball season was decent. I learned a lot. We had a lot of seniors on the basketball team too.
Basketball or football, which one do you feel you are better at?
I feel like I’m equally good in both.
What is the toughest part of playing in the secondary?
The toughest part about playing in the secondary is not getting the ball thrown my way.
What type of receiver do you like going up against the most?
I don’t really have a type of receiver I like guarding most. I’ll guard whoever.
Who is the best player that you have faced in a game, along with the team he was on?
Drake McClurg from Center Grove
What are your goals for the 2025 football season?
My personal goal for the season is just to be better than I was last season and step up as a leader.
What goals are you setting for the team?
State championship or bust!
Would you share with the readers some of the camps you have been to, including the most important lessons you have picked up at the camps?
I haven’t attended any camps.
What has been your biggest moment as an athlete?
My biggest moment as an athlete was probably scoring 30 points and beating the number 1 team in the country.
How would you describe your style of play?
I’d say I’m a hybrid safety. I can cover well, and I’m a willing tackler.
What makes you a good teammate?
What makes me a good teammate is that it’s never about me. I always put the team first.
Would you share with the readers some of the colleges you are hearing from, along with any offers you have received?
Bowling Green State, Toledo, Kent State, IU, Vanderbilt, Purdue, Kentucky, Tennessee, Alabama, Marshall, Maryland, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Ohio State, Louisville, Arizona State, Kansas, Oklahoma State, Michigan, and Penn State.
What is your favorite class or subject?
My favorite subject is math.
Who are your role models?
My dad is my biggest role model. He’s a great person to be around every day.
What is your favorite drink?
Orange Hi-C
