Post a small recap of last season with something like a big game you had, something about a certain game, something from a bus ride to or from the game, or something that sticks out from a practice.

At Wellston there was a lightning delay for at least an hour and thirty minutes, and we thought the game was going to get canceled, so we were all freestyling and listening to music in the locker room and not staying locked, which hurt us later on, but it was fun.

With this being your final high school football season, have you approached things differently than you have in the past?

Yes, with this being my senior year, I feel like every day I’m doing something to get better, even if it’s just recovery. I’m also trying to focus on the little things and win every day.

What are your goals for the season?

Personal, I really want to do big things this year for my team. I would love to get SOC defensive player of the year and do better and get like 2nd or 1st team. All-District

What goals are you setting for the team?

I feel like I just want the work everyone puts in to pay off, and I want to try to piece together a good season.

What has been your biggest moment on the football field?

I would say I’ve made some good plays for my team, but the best one is probably the two interceptions against Oak Hill to seal the win.

What makes you a good teammate?

I think I could be a better teammate. However, I don’t really rip into anyone real bad, especially for little things, but I try to hold everyone accountable. Also, I will give anyone on the team a ride home when they ask.

Why should a college coach recruit you?

I would say because I will go make a play when needed, and I’m always ready to outwork the next guy.

What on the field do you believe you are best at?

Making plays, I feel like if I needed to step up and make a play, I would.

You are listed as playing the following positions: FS/SS/CB/WR/RB/QB. Which one is the toughest to prepare for?

QB for sure, as the QB, I know what everyone does on the play, how the line blocks, and what all the skills do. I also have to make sure I know what I’m doing.

Who is the first teammate that is going to go off if practice is not going well?

Definitely Bryce or Marty; they both are dogs, and when the surrounding team isn’t stepping up and doing their part, one of them will let them know.

If you are invited to play in any of the all-star games after the season, will you play?

I would assume so; I don’t see a reason not to.

Who is the best player that you have faced in a game, along with the team he was on?

If I had to say one person, I’d say Asher Conley from Burg, but Burg was tough; they had a good QB and receivers.

With so many college coaches looking at and contacting players on Twitter and watching film on Hudl, how often do you update your pages?

I don’t really update it that much or get on Twitter that much.

What scares you?

Failure.

Outside of sports, what are you doing for fun?

I’m the best console player around, no matter what game.

What is your favorite class or subject?

Gotta be math
