N/A
How did your wrestling season go?
For my first season back, I did really well; I went 21-10.
Being what is deemed an undersized lineman, what advantages do you feel you have over other linemen?
With me being undersized compared to others, I would say pad level and speed give me the advantage compared to others.
Would you share with the readers some of the camps that you have been to, along with the biggest lessons you have learned?
This year I went to Marietta, Otterbein, Denison, OWU, Bowling Green, and Thomas More University. The biggest lesson I learned was from Thomas More when they told me to put my hand sideways when I am in my position so that when I come out ready to punch, I will already have my hands at a certain angle to punch and not be pushed back.
What are your personal goals?
To ball out my senior year and make it on the OCC list, whether that is 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or HM team
Go to college to study psychology or communication so I can become a therapist or a broadcaster.
What goals are you setting for the team?
Building discipline and chemistry.
How important is it to you that the team not only gets along on the field but also off of it?
To me, spending time with your team is very important because it builds more than just a team; to me, it builds a family, a culture, and success.
Can you list three reasons why you play sports?
I play football because it builds discipline, family, and mental strength.
What are the first words out of the coach's mouth when things are going bad at practice?
A lot of times the coaches will say, What are we doing?
What makes you a good teammate?
What makes me a good teammate is the time I am willing to sacrifice to help you be better with technique or anything you feel like you are struggling with.
Why should a college coach recruit you?
The drive that makes me want to be better at my technique/skill and the energy I bring.
Can the band, fans, and cheerleaders get you fired up before and/or during the game?
The band and fans will always get me fired up because hearing the music with cheering makes me want to do something great, but the cheer team, not really.
If you are invited to play in any of the all-star games after the season, will you play?
Yes, I would love to because I would love to experience something new and play against the best.
Would you share with the readers some of the colleges that you are hearing from?
I am hearing from OWU, Marietta, Otterbein, Muskingum, Wooster, Thomas More, Midway, Capital, and Denison.
What is your favorite class or subject?
My favorite class was psychology/sociology, but my favorite subject is science.
Where is the best local spot to grab a good meal?
The best local spot that I love to get something to eat at is Nico's Cajun Island.
Have you ever been to a Columbus Clippers game?
Yeah, it was Diamond Dog night.
