What are some of the awards you have won or earned?

Two times first team all MSL, two times first team all district, two times honorable mention all Ohio

What were the high and low points of the 2023 season?

I’d say a high point would be doubling our wins from the 2022 season. Some low points would be losing three close games that would’ve given us a higher seed in tournament play and not being able to win a playoff game.

What are your personal goals for the 2024 season?

1,500 rushing yards and 1,000 passing yards, 25 rushing touchdowns, and 15 passing touchdowns.

How long have you played football, along with the reasons you continue to play?

I have been playing football for 11 years. Football clicked as soon as I put the pads on; there’s something about it that I can’t get enough of. I’d say the reason I continue to play is my love for the game.

Who or what got you interested in playing football?

Watching my brothers when they were in high school really motivated me to put on the pads at such a young age.

What is the best aspect of being the quarterback for Miller High School?

Just being the guy you know. Ever since I was a freshman, I told myself I would be the first quarterback in Miller history to win a playoff game, and that always stuck with me.

What is the toughest part of being the quarterback?

The pressure is sure; everything is running through you 24/7. I just focus on my nerves and staying positive; if my team sees that I’m nervous, then they will be too.

What do you believe is the strongest part of your game?

The mental aspect is my IQ. I am very football smart, so that is a huge advantage that I use not just for myself but to help my teammates. My physical aspect is my legs; being able to run the ball like a halfback helps us a ton.

Which part of your game must you improve on to be a better player?

My passing for sure, staying in the pocket longer, staying calm, and delivering a good football to my target.

As an athlete in any sport, at any age, what has been your biggest moment?

Scoring 46 points against Millersport last year in basketball as well as breaking the school record.

As an athlete in any sport, at any age, what has been your most embarrassing moment?

Forgetting my basketball shoes in my second ever varsity start freshman year.

What is the toughest part of practice?

Staying locked in and motivated for 2 and a half hours is pretty challenging; if you know me, I like to joke, so staying on task is hard.

Who are your role models?

My dad and my older brother.

What is your favorite meal?

Anything McDonald’s.

Who is your favorite athlete?

 Rory mcilroy
