Post a small recap of last season with something like a big game you had, something about a certain game, something from a bus ride to or from the game, or something that sticks out from a practice.

Last season, my team went 2-7. My best game last season was probably the Pella game because that's the game I got the best tackle of my career so far.

With this being your final high school football season, are you approaching it differently than you have in the past?

I wouldn't say so. I'm still practicing and lifting like any other season I've had in the past.

What do you believe the strongest part of your game is?

Run, stopping and taking on the blockers.

Which part of your game are you hoping to improve before the season kicks off?

Pass rushing is definitely the weakest area of my game. I'm working to improve that the best I can before the season starts.

Offensive tackle or defensive tackle, which one do you believe you are better at?

Defensive tackle.

Offensive tackle or defensive tackle, which one is harder to play? Explain

I'd say offensive tackle by just a little bit. I say that because of all the plays and situations during the plays, you have to remember what to do during them.

As a lineman, what type of weather do you like playing in the most?

I like colder weather.

Who is the toughest teammate to square up against during practice?

I'd say the toughest teammate for me would either be our other offensive tackle, Gavin Roth, or our center, Andy Crowder.

What is the worst part of the first day of practice in full pads?

I wouldn't really say there's a worst part for me because I'm used to the shoulder pads because of the camps I go to. If I had to choose something, though, it would be that after a while my shoulders start to get sore.

Who is the best player that you have faced in a game, along with the team he played for?

I remember my sophomore year I had to go against a 6'7, 300-something-pound guard from Pella. I'd probably say he was the one that stuck out most.

What are your goals for the season?

To improve on my stats from last year.

What makes you a good teammate?

I cheer my teammates on and celebrate when they make plays and pick them up if they mess up.

Why should a college coach recruit you?

Because I'm a great player, teammate, leader, and student.

Who is your favorite athlete?

I've always liked Aaron Donald because he's a excellent player that plays the same position as me.

What scares you?

The ocean.

What is your go-to snack?

I wouldn't really say I have a go-to snack. I pretty much just eat whatever snack I can find in the house.
