Please post a small recap of last season with something like a big game you had, something about a certain game, something from a bus ride to or from the game, or something that sticks out from a practice.
My teammates dancing in the locker after we won the first game of the season after being doubted to win the game.
Overall, how did you feel your first season at Rock Hill went?
I feel my season at Rock Hill was pretty solid. I accomplished things I never believed I would have accomplished my sophomore season. Such as reaching over 100+ tackles.
What do you feel was the biggest difference between Ohio football and West Virginia football?
I feel the biggest difference between West Virginia and Ohio football is the environments. In Ohio, I felt a tight connection with our fans, but in West Virginia it differed.
What was the highlight of the 2024 season?
The biggest highlight from the 2024 season was my Pick 6 from Oak Hill to pretty much close the game off.
What was the toughest aspect of the 2024 season?
The toughest aspect of the 2024 season was being doubted by the whole conference, and losing one game would diminish confidence.
Who was the best player that you faced during the 2024 season, as well as the team he played on?
Kayden Murphy, Dawson Bryant High School (Coal Grove)
What are your goals for the 2025 season?
My goal for the 2025 season is to end the season with 115+ tackles and be an All-State player.
What goals are you setting for the team?
My goal for the team is winning the state championship.
What was the biggest reason for the transfer to Ashland Paul Blazer High School?
My family relocated.
What have you done during the off-season to help improve your game?
Going to my trainer 3–4 times a week and training explosively.
What is the toughest part of the first day of practice in full pads?
Adapting to the heat and keeping your body cooled off.
How do you handle criticism?
I listen to it and take it to heart. I try to learn from it and improve.
What are the three biggest reasons that you play football?
To make a living out of it and become the first in the family to play football in college, and it just brings my mind to peace.
What goes on your pizza?
I’m just a cheese kind of guy; I was never a fan of toppings.
What is your favorite animal?
Cats
Outside of sports, what are you doing for fun?
Playing my guitar
