Post a small recap of last season with personal highlights and any other big moments you have and/or memories you have from last season, whether it be a game, the bus ride to or from the game, or any other thing that sticks out.

My best memory from last season would be from our game against St. Clairsville, which ended up getting rain delays every 30 minutes, and the game lasted till 1am. A lot of good memories came from that game, and that’s where I believe all of us players really built a bond last season.

What are your goals for the season?

My goals this season are to go to the playoffs, get a few college offers, and get at least 30 sacks this season.

What will it take for the Beaver Local program to turn things around and become a yearly winner and playoff contender?

To turn Beaver Local into a yearly winner and playoff contender, consistency from both players and coaches is needed, and more development of our younger players would also be helpful. I also believe Beaver Local hasn’t had a culture for the last few years, which we are finally starting to build. Lastly, I feel accountability needs to be more prominent this year, and not just everyone blaming each other.

What are the advantages you have as far as being what some would say an undersized lineman?

I would definitely say speed is one of my bigger advantages I have over any bigger lineman.

Where on the line do you believe you best fit? Explain

I believe I’m best fit at defensive end. Mostly because I would consider myself to be faster than most linemen, which, in my opinion, is hard to beat as an offensive lineman.

What has been your biggest accomplishment as a high school football player?

Making varsity as a sophomore.

What does community buy-in mean to you, the football program, and the school?

When the community and the program move in the same direction, it builds momentum that can elevate not just wins and losses, but the lives of the student-athletes and the spirit of the entire school.

Who is the best player that you have faced in a game, along with the team he was on?

D’shawn Kirby of East Liverpool High School.

What are your thoughts about girls playing on the football team?

I think it is a great idea to let female athletes include themselves in a primarily male sport.

Why should a college coach recruit you?

A college coach should recruit me because I'm dedicated, a quick learner, and always push myself to improve. Plus, I'm a great teammate and bring a positive attitude to every practice and game.

Would you share with the readers some of the camps that you have attended, as well as some of the things that you are learning to help improve your game?

So far I have attended the Kent State Mega Camp, with a few more coming up. Some of the things I’m learning are that agility is a very important skill and having a good, strong base as a lineman is nearly paramount to winning at the line of scrimmage.

With so many college coaches using Hudl and X as a way to keep up with players, how often are you updating your pages?

I update my pages once a week, sometimes twice.

If you are invited to play in any of the all-star games after the season, will you?

Yes, of course I would love to play!

What scares you?

I have a huge fear of under performing in anything I do in life.

Outside of sports, what are you doing for fun?

When I’m not hanging out with my friends or my girlfriend, I enjoy playing video games, spending time with my family, and working out.

What is your favorite class or subject?

My favorite subjects are normally math and science.
