Where should the state finals be?

State should be at Ohio State; maybe go out of town, get out of our element. I don’t think many kids played at Ohio State.

Are 16 teams per region making the playoffs too many or just right?

They just changed it, so let’s see how this year goes.

What are your goals for the 2025 season?

Goals: 100+ tackles Win state All-state Big 22 1st team all-conference

Do you feel that private schools have an advantage over public schools? Explain

I don’t think it’s an advantage. If you can play ball, then you can play.

What is the toughest offense to prepare for?

Any team with great coaches is going to have great offensive schemes. I don’t really know; maybe a team with lots of movement.

What offense do you like going against the most?

I like going against heavy running teams.

With this being your final high school football season, have you prepared differently than you have in the past? Explain

Yeah, I prepared differently knowing it’s my last year, and I want to win something big. I’m going in with a different mindset to lead the team and help to get to our goal.

Who is the best player that you have faced in a game along with the team he played for?

N/A

Out of the road games that you have played in, which stadium had the best overall atmosphere, along with what made it so good?

Riverside, their stadium was great, the fans made it a great game, they showed up and showed out, and made it loud.

Can the band, fans, and cheerleaders get you fired up before and during the game?

Yeah, the band always gets me hyped up.

What makes you a good teammate?

Just my energy—I can get the team turnt and ready to play—and my leadership.

If you are invited to play in any of the all-star games after the season, will you?

Yes, I will most likely play in an all-star game if I get invited.

What is your game-day routine?

Game day routine: I go to school; after school I would get pasta and come back to the school, get stretched out, drink lots of water and electrolytes, and then get ready to go outside to the field, get warmed up, and all the other stuff.

Who are your role models?

My role model would be my brother Allen. He's playing college basketball right now, but he just pushes me every everyday to be a better me.

Have you been to any sporting events at Youngstown State?

I've been to the YSU spring game.

What is your go-to snack?

Go-to snacks would be like almond milk and pineapple or some Cheez-Its.
