Post a small recap of last season with personal highlights and any other big moments you have and memories you have from last season, whether it be a game, the bus ride to or from the game, or any other thing that sticks out.
This is not really an in-season memory, but I was talking to my coach when I got my first offer. He was really happy for me; that’s probably my best memory from last year.
What was the toughest part of the 2024 season?
Watching my team lose games and not being able to help them because I was not on the field.
What will you miss the most from the 2025 class?
I’ll miss playing with that team. We were a very close group, and now that I’ve transferred schools, I have to build new relationships with a new team.
What are your personal goals for the season?
A personal goal I have for the 2025 season is to be named an all-conference quarterback and win a sectional championship for my school for the first time since 2013.
If you were not a quarterback, what position would you play?
I think I would play linebacker. I’m a very physical quarterback, and I started out playing linebacker in little league.
What are your thoughts about playing on the special team units?
I think that having a good special teams unit is a huge difference maker in a football game, so if Coach asked me to do it, I would.
What makes you a good teammate?
I think what makes me a good teammate is my hunger to succeed. I want to win, and I’m willing to bring everyone around me up to another level to reach that goal.
What is the biggest strength of your game?
My best strength is probably my accuracy. I haven’t always had a strong arm, so I focused on sharpening my accuracy until my body caught up to my skill.
What part of your game are you hoping to improve the most before the season kicks off?
My speed as it stands now is not slow, but not as fast as it could be, but it’s something that I’ve been training at very hard.
What has been your biggest moment as an athlete in any sport, at any age?
A big moment in football for me was being named an almost unanimous captain. It meant a lot to me and was a big motivation for me to keep pushing when things got tough.
Should every team make the playoffs?
Yes, in Indiana every team gets one playoff game. It gives teams a reason to keep fighting after a hard season and paves the way for insane underdog stories.
What is the best type of weather for you, a quarterback, to play in?
Sunny weather is best for me; it feels great, and it’s perfect football weather.
Have you gone to any Colts games?
Yes, I’ve gone to a couple of games, but my best memory from the Lucas Oil Stadium is going to the Big Ten Championship game. My dad and I got sideline passes, and it was an amazing experience.
What is your go-to snack?
My go-to snack is a slice of key lime pie.
Who is your favorite athlete?
My favorite athlete is Bryce Young. I saw him play once in high school, and I’ve been following him ever since.
