Post a small recap of last season with personal highlights and any other big moments you have and/or memories you have from last season, whether it be a game, the bus ride to or from the game, or any other thing that sticks out.
My best memory of last season was beating University High 49-7. Our RB set a record for TDs in a game! It was great to be a part of that. Overall we had a really good year—I loved every minute of my first year on varsity! It was great coming into the season and meeting and exceeding a lot of goals I set for myself.
What will you miss the most from the 2025 class?
The leadership we had from several players that were top performers and team leaders.
What was the highlight of the 2025 season?
Beating our crosstown rivals University High 49-7
What makes you a good teammate?
I give everything I have every play. I’m there to be a leader on my team, and I do that by example.
What do you feel is the strongest part of your game?
I feel like my run blocking is the strongest part of my game.
What have you done during the off-season to improve your game?
I knew I needed better pass protection skills. I went to train with 2tenths speed and agility and was asked to be on their 5v5 team, which is all pass protection. I also work out with several trainers as much as possible. Gordon Cohagan locally and Byron Dovales in Pittsburgh.
Where should the state finals be held?
Maybe at some of the DII schools around the state? WVU and Marshall just look empty without 20k people.
What's the best part of being an offensive lineman?
It’s basically a battle every play. I love dominating and forcing the defense to give ground.
What is the toughest part of being an offensive lineman?
Getting respect for all of the skills the position requires.
What has been your biggest moment as a football player?
My first varsity pancake. It was great, first game against Parkersburg.
What's been your most embarrassing moment as an athlete?
I had an offsides penalty when Coach had called a play we worked a lot on. I just got caught up in the moment.
Can you share with the readers some of the colleges that you are hearing from?
Sacramento State gave me my first offer. WVU has shown interest, Akron, Toledo.
What is your game day routine?
I like to hang out at the field after school. Just take time to relax and keep my mind clear until game prep starts.
What is your favorite type of music?
Tyler, the Creator.
What is the one sport you cannot watch?
Hockey.
What is your go-to snack?
Sour Patch Kids
