We won D10 for the second year in a row, and it was the first time in my life I cried happy tears just because of how hard we fought to overcome all the adversity all season long and throughout the game.

When we spoke the last time, you had listed these goals for the 2024 season. 1K All-Purpose: 10 interceptions, 15 touchdowns, All-State All-American, and State Champ. Which of those were you able to achieve?

I achieved 1k all-purpose, had 5 interceptions and 12 touchdowns, and I was all-state.

How did the basketball and track seasons go for you?

Basketball season and track were underwhelming because I was battling through injuries for most of both of them, but it helped me grow mentally as a person on and off the field.

Where on the field do you believe you fit best?

Corner

What will you miss the most from the 2025 class?

The seniors and how they never failed to make practice fun

What was the highlight of the 2024 season?

Winning D10

What have you been able to accomplish during the off-season to strengthen your game?

I’ve been working a lot on my pressman coverage and a lot on my technique.

What makes you a good leader?

I don’t hang my head in adversity.

Can the fans, band, and cheerleaders get you fired up before and/or during the game?

Yes

How do you get over a bad game?

Just listen to music.

What is the best part of the first day of practice?

Seeing who’s really a dog

Who is the one teammate that is going to get vocal if practice is not going well?

Zander Telesz, my past senior quarterback

What advice are you giving that first-year starter right before you take the field on opening night?

Don’t let the nerves get to you and just take it all in.

NFL Player
