Post a small recap of last season with personal highlights and any other big moments you have and/or memories you have from last season, whether it be a game, the bus ride to or from the game, or any other thing that sticks out.
It was our first year in the OCC Buckeye Division, where we went 8-5 and made it to the third round of the playoffs, which was the farthest we’ve gone in school history. I started the season on JV and was able to prove myself with my play and earned varsity time. I played special teams all year on varsity and had a touchdown-saving tackle in our Friday Night Rivals game vs. Reynoldsburg on a kickoff return.
What will you miss the most from the 2025 class?
Some of my good friends and the leadership they brought.
Running back or linebacker, which position do you feel you are better at?
I feel more comfortable and better at running back, though playing linebacker is just as fun sometimes.
As a running back, is there a type of defense you like facing? Explain.
I like to play against an overaggressive defense because when they overcommit, it gives me time to be patient and make a big play.
As a linebacker, what type of offense is the toughest to prepare for?
A disciplined and fast-paced offense is really difficult to play against and get prepped for.
What makes you a good teammate?
I try to lead by example by being reliable, always having a positive attitude, and making good decisions.
What is the worst part of two-a-days?
The worst part of two-a-days is definitely the conditioning at the end of practice.
What has been your biggest moment as an athlete, any sport, any age?
This season I had my first varsity start at RB against Newark. I rushed for a total of 141 yards and scored my first touchdown.
Where should the state finals be held?
At the Shoe.
Who is the best player that you have faced in a game, along with the team he was on?
Roy Price from Newark.
What are your thoughts on girls playing on the football team?
I think girls playing football is great—if they have the passion and work ethic, they deserve the same opportunities to compete and show what they can do.
What are your goals for the season?
To make All-OCC.
What has been the biggest sacrifice you have made to play sports?
Cutting vacation short and missing events with friends.
What scares you?
My biggest fear is snakes.
Who are your favorite and least favorite Major League Baseball teams?
I like the Reds, and the Pirates are my least favorite.
Have you gone to a Columbus Clippers game?
Yes, but I haven’t gone to one in a while.
