What will it take for St. Bernard-Elmwood Place to have a winning season and a deep playoff run?

I feel that it would take players stepping up due to graduating around 15 seniors, most of whom are starters. I also feel that it's this summer and everyone's dedication.

What has been your biggest moment as a football player?

As of right now, what I would say has been my biggest moment is my injury from this past year. I say this just because this year shows if I have what it takes to come back and still play at the level I know I can play at.

Would you rather play your rival on opening night or the last week of the regular season?

I would rather play them on opening night to set the tone for the season.

What was the highlight of the 2024 season?

I would say the highlight was when the clock hit 0:00 against Portsmouth West, which we considered our actual first playoff win.

What was the toughest part of the 2024 season?

I would say overcoming the injuries that affected our team.

Who is the best player that you have faced in a game, along with the team they were on?

I would say the best player I've faced in a game prior to their transfer from that team was Damien Dawson for the Lockland Panthers.

If you could add a new team to the schedule, who are you adding and why?

I would love to play Cincinnati Country Day again just because I love the fire in the rival of being the best in the MVC Gray, but that's come to an end with our division updates. I liked how they were a great powerhouse.

What makes you a good teammate?

I feel what makes me a good teammate is that I try to listen and help as much as I can, whether it's on the field or off the field.

Why should a college coach recruit you?

I feel a college coach should recruit me because I try to learn from mistakes that I may cause and do what's asked of me. I also strive to get better and stronger, and lastly, I love to compete.

How long have you been kicking and counting?

I've been doing it for around 6 years on and off.

Defensive end or tight end, which one do you feel you are better at?

I feel I'm better at Tight end.

If you are invited to play in any of the all-star games after the season, will you?

I would definitely play in them if I'm asked to come and play.

What is a food that you enjoy that most others do not?

Honestly, I don't know any, but I like a lot of things except cold/raw broccoli and cauliflower; I prefer them steamed.

What is a skill that you have that might surprise those who know you?

I don't really know of any, but I play the baritone in band.

What is your favorite video game and system?

I like Madden on an Xbox.

Athens Bulldogs use balanced attack to down Wellston Golden Rockets 41-0

  *Using the rosters from both Hudl and Max Preps* The Plains, OH Last night I made the hour-long drive to Athens High School to watch the Bulldogs host the Golden Rockets of Wellston. Entering the game, the Bulldogs came in 7-0 and ranked number 10 in division three. Wellston, much improved from last season, entered 5-2. In the game last year, Athens won 47-28. Wellston started out doing exactly what they needed to do to have a shot at winning the game. They came out and ate most of the first quarter with a drive that had last for 15 plays going for 69 yards. Things would start going wrong for them on the sixteenth play of the drive. They faced fourth and four from the Bulldogs five, and they elected to go for it, where the pass and the second attempt of the drive fell incomplete, forcing a turnover on downs. On the drive facing a third and one, Seth Lambert picked up twelve. Later on the drive facing third and fifth, Johhny Scott picked up 10-yards after he could not find anyon...
