What was the best part about the 2024 season?

I think the best part about our 2024 season was how we were able to kind of battle back early in the season, you know, with the two losses that we had. It was really cool to just watch us come back and dominate the rest of the season.

What was the toughest part of the 2024 season?

I think the toughest part of the 2024 season was just when it came to the end and how much football really meant to the seniors and how much the school and fans meant to them. m

Looking back at last season, what surprised you the most?

Honestly, the thing that surprised me the most I knew we had a lot of talent on our team, but for us to battle and play without a quarterback and go as far as we did, I feel like that’s really one thing that surprised me the most about our team—that we didn’t just . n We knew what type of team we were, and we kept playing through it.

What is the toughest part of playing both baseball and football?

I think the toughest thing about playing both is that in some ways they are two completely different sports, baseball being a lot more mental than football. l

How important is it for the team to not only get along on the field but off of it as well?

Both are pretty important. I feel like it’s a lot more important to be closer off the field with your teammates because you’re not only building a friendship but also trust in your teammates that they can trust you no matter what situation you’re in on the field.

If you could take one home game and move it to any stadium in the nation, where are you playing that game?

I feel like one field that I would really like to play at football-wise would have to be Ohio State University.

Which game are you looking forward to the most?

One game I’m looking forward to a lot. Is the Liberty game this year? I feel like we can really just dominate them and show them that that was a one-year thing and just put them back in their place. e

Which road stadium is the worst to play in? Explain

I think Central Crossing was the worst to play at just because of that week. It was super, super rainy and just nasty, but also no one was there, and it was just a horrible atmosphere to play in.

Who is the teammate that is the toughest to square up against in practice?

One teammate that was super hard to square up against at practice was Derek Bradley. He was just super quick off the end, and his hands were crazy fast.

Can the band and cheerleaders really get you as a player fired up before or during the game?

In my opinion, I think they just add on to the atmosphere, so yeah, I feel like they definitely get me hyped up, but not something that I rely on for energy.

What is the toughest part of practice?

Man, the toughest part of practice is probably having our team part of practice when we’re going full go offense vs. defense and the coaches are on our butts about the little things.

What is your favorite part of practice?

My favorite part of practice is on Thursdays when we get our captains up, and they just tell us their expectations for how the game is going to go and how they get us all hyped up.

If your coaching staff had an MMA battle, who would win?

I feel like our offensive coordinator coach would win an MMA fight just because he’s a lot taller than everyone else and a little younger, so I feel like he would have a pretty good chance of winning.

What is the one sport that you cannot watch in person or on TV?

Honestly, probably soccer, just because it’s such a boring game. You guys run back up and down the field, passing it; sometimes you even tie, which is kind of weird in my opinion, but I definitely have to say soccer.

What scares you?

Heights scare me a lot.
