Answer: My personal highlight that I would mention is week 7 vs. Fremont. My line and I stayed disciplined and cohesive. Everyone knew their assignment and executed it.
What is the toughest part of being a left tackle?
Answer: Chasing down the backside LB!
I like the way you are able to pull and hit the guy you are seeking out. What is the toughest part of pulling and getting to the man you are looking to block?
Answer: The toughest part for me when pulling is staying true to the man. When I pull, I sometimes get too ahead of myself, and after I make contact, I want to move on to the next threat.
Is there a college or pro lineman you pattern your game after?
Answer: I am very fortunate to have trained with some of the college/pro linemen I model my technique after, such as Joe Tippmann, Jared Almeida, Conner Hindman, and Vince Fiacable.
What is your preferred weather to play in?
Answer: Cold and rainy

Who is the toughest teammate to square up against during practice?
Answer: Gabriel Guerra
Who is the best player that you have faced in a game, along with the team he was on?
Answer: Cameron Fravel from Adams Central High School
Can the band, fans, and cheerleaders get you fired up?
Answer: YES! There’s nothing like a loud stadium!!!
What are you telling that first-year starter right before you take the field?
Answer: Make mistakes going 100 mph!
With this being your final high school season, have you approached things differently than you have in the past?
Answer: I haven’t approached this year differently. Everything should be 110% effort.
Why should a college coach recruit you?
Answer: I believe I can make an impact on and off the field.
How important is it to you to earn an invite to the North vs. South game after the season is over?
Answer: Very important, as someone coming from a small school in the middle of nowhere, it’s the goal!
What do you do for fun in Butler, Indiana?
Answer: There isn’t anything here in Butler, but for fun I head to Fort Wayne to the parks and arcades.
What was the last book you read, along with the author?
Answer: The One and Only Ivan by Katherine Applegate. Greatly enjoyed it!
What is a skill or talent that you have that would shock those who know you?
Answer: I'm a pretty good cook. 👨🍳
